The Silver Jubilee Government College Fraternity took its shape in the year 1998, with the seed provided by Mr.Y.Rambabu, an old student of 1991-1994 Batch, watered and nurtured by Sri.A.V.Kotireddy, Ex- Principal . It has been growing from strength to strength, and blooming beautifully, since then. It is registered as a Non profit Voluntary organization in the year, 1999, to include the past & present students and faculty of the college, as members. The first Executive committee was formed with Sri. A.V.Koti Reddy Ex-Principal as President, Dr.G.V.Ramanaiah Ex-Principal as Vice President and Sri. K.Veeraiah Chowdary of 1972 - 75 First Batch student , as the Secretary .
Aims & Objectives :

To organize Fraternity meets at regular intervals for interaction and mutual cooperation its members . |
2. |
To instit te scholarships and prizes annually to the meritorious students of Silver Jubilee Government College . |
3. |
To romote Sports and organize cultural events and guest lectures in the college , to motivate the students |
4. |
To represent the Silver Jubilee Government College before the Government , Legislature and other Non Governmental organizations to further the interests of the students . |
5. |
To put in sincere efforts and strive hard to restore and sustain the ORIGINAL GLORY of Silver Jubilee Government College . |
6. |
To undertake social service activities in the interest of communal harmony and National Integration by actively involving its members. |
Achivements :
1. |
Annual General Body meetings are held, conventionally on 2nd October, the Gandhi Jayantrhi Day of every year . |
2. |
Institution of scholarships and distribution of prizes to meritorious students are undertaken . |
3. |
Senior members of the Fraternity who have reached high positions in the society are encouraged and taken to visit the college as Role Models to provide inspiration and guidance to the students. |

A word given to the NAAC is kept up by collecting Rs.1 lakh from its members and spent it to provide 150 thick moulded chairs with arms rests , very convenient in the class rooms and examination halls . |

Fraternity members are nominated as special invitees and as members of the Executive Council & Academic Council of the Autonomous Silver Jubilee Government College to effectively plead on behalf of the students and faculty to attain academic excellence and to enhance the job potential for the students leaving the portals of the college . |

An e-mail ID < ssilverjubilian@gmail.com a> is created for the Fraternity , to facilitate the members to keep in contact and provide feed back on their needs and developments. |

A Monthly & Bilingual News letter with the Title " SILVERJUBILIAN " is beig registered and will be published to disseminate information to the members about the latest situation about the college and the Fraternity . |
